The Albatross

Don’t bother, they don’t care. So Tuna and I were off on safari today exploring Minneriya National Park. This involves getting up late, sitting in our car , having a lovely lunch and then a couple of nice chaps driving you around in a jeep so you can take happy snaps of a multitude of birds, monkeys, buffalo, mongoose and most importantly wild (sort of, they’re used to tourists in jeeps) elephants. Gosh, safari is brutal. Where’s my pith helmet?
Anyway the park was lovely and the elephants very cool. Here’s some piccies.
Then off to digs, a stunning hotel wrapped around a massive rock on a hill, looking over some lakes. Long Island Iced Teas followed by a lovely dinner.
How does one survive the colonies?
